The Show

Real founders.
Real food.
No filter.

Founders at Brunch profiles the builders, creators, and risk-takers shaping the world's most exciting startup ecosystems. Each season, we embed in a new city, sit down with 25 founders, and bring their stories to a global audience, one episode, every single week.

The format is simple. Comfort food shows up, not for the aesthetic, but because it works. Something about a shared meal strips away the polish. You get the actual story.

01

The Build

Origin stories, inflection points, and the reality behind the roadmap. No filters, no PR prep, no polished soundbites.

02

The Bite

Comfort food makes its appearance. Not for the aesthetic, because eating together strips the guard down faster than any interview technique.

03

The Reflection

Unpacking lessons, the hard calls, regrets, and what they'd do differently. The part that actually helps the next founder.

"Brunch is where conversations slow down, guards come down, and truth shows up."

The Format Philosophy
Season 1

We're Coming
to Toronto.

Season 1 launches July 2026 and we are looking for Toronto's most interesting founders. Not the most famous. The most real.

We are completely sector agnostic. Web3, FinTech, HealthTech, AI, CPG, SaaS, hardware, whatever you are building. What matters is one thing: you need skin in the game. Revenue or sales, or if you are pre-seed in R&D, you need to have raised money. No idea-stage pitches. No deck-only founders.

The Host

Athika Fatima

Web3 DevRel & Ecosystem Builder · 3x Founder

Athika is a Toronto-based tech founder, community builder, and the voice behind Founders at Brunch. She is not a journalist. She's a founder who has sat across the table from enough builders to know that the most important parts of their story never make it into the pitch deck. She started this show because she wanted to hear those parts out loud.

Behind
the Series.

Founders at Brunch began with a simple observation: the most honest conversations rarely happen on stage. They happen in quieter moments, over food that feels familiar.

"None of this would have been possible without our partners. This show is as much yours as it is ours."

Your story
belongs here.

We're looking for founders who are building something real, not necessarily something famous. The pivot that almost killed the company. The decision that changed everything. The thing you've never said in a press release.

If that's you, or someone you know, pull up a chair.
